I’m leaving for Costa Rica in about nine hours. I really should be in bed, but there are just a few last minute things left to do. There are always just a few last minute things left to do…not that I could fall asleep anyways.

I can’t wait to begin this adventure. There’s so much to see, so much to learn, so much to do! My mind is buzzing with anticipation, hoping somewhat foolishly for many challenges. Suddenly so strongly, I have this feeling of invinceability (do you know the feeling?), though I know this whole experience is going to be very humbling. I don’t know exactly what to expect, but I’m excited. I’d better keep my eyes and ears and mind open, or else who knows what will catch me by surprise…
